An exceptional pure Beluga (Huso Huso) caviar farmed in Belgium. The large caviar roe is visible and makes this a creamy and delicious caviar. As one of the most desirable caviar's, it is important to note that this is a pure Beluga (Huso Huso) caviar and one has to be sure of this, as some may promote Beluga caviar that is not a pure Huso Huso, but still call it Beluga.
This particular Beluga caviar is a luxurious caviar with a steely grey colour and large roe size (3.5mm); when tasted, this caviar will have a delicate salty flavour which is followed by a rich and creamy after-taste. An exceptional item that really matches the magnificence that its name carries.
Originating from the Caspian sea, it is illegal to sell wild-caught Belugas, so Beluga's that are sold are farmed. The Beluga Sturgeon has a typical lifespan of around 50 years, however, it is possible for this type of sturgeon to live much longer than this and can weight up to a 100 kg.
