Traditionally it was known as the Tsar Cut from Imperial Russia where they lightly smoked the Tender Loin of the Salmon Fillet. They used to cut each slice vertically in small thick slices.
The superior quality of Grants Traditional Oak Smoked Salmon is ensured by the care in which only the very finest fresh Atlantic Salmon is selected. Time-honoured smoking methods are adopted, perfected through generations, to provide a consistently succulent texture and delicate flavour. Each side is dry cured with natural sea salt and brown sugar then gently smoked over oak wood chips. This creates a full distinctive flavour. Once smoked, the salmon is vacuum packed and ready to serve.
Chilled and Refreezing Information:
Our shipments are sent out frozen and tend to arrive at your door at a very low temperature (We cannot guarantee the exact temperature in which they arrive). If the product is still cold, at fridge temperature (5C degrees or below), then you may refreeze the product. If you cannot confirm whether the temperature of the product is similar to your fridge temperature (5C degrees or below) then do not refreeze.
